Real Estate has been Dale’s first and only career and he has in the field for 15 years. There’s a quote attributed to Mark Twain that he absolutely loves - “Buy land, they’re not making any more of it” - in a world filled with intangibles… NFTs, stocks, bitcoin, etc., land is an asset, an investment, that you can literally grab and hold in your hands. He believes that being a homeowner is the first and biggest step every American must take in order to build wealth. The stability and enjoyment you and your family get is immeasurable. It is truly humbling to be there to help his clients take such a big step in their lives. A lot of his identity and feelings of significance comes from knowing that he is looked to share the advice and knowledge he has gained over his lifetime in this business.

His ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: Portlanders know how breakfast is done. Starting a day of adventure with a bite from one of our amazing local eateries is the only way to go. He is an avid hiker and is a hike leader for the Mazama’s. He is taking Portlanders on some of his favorite hikes several times a week. Did you know there are hundreds of gorgeous hiking trails that begin in the city and spider through the dozens of local forests and parks that are right inside city limits? And most of them wind through some of Portland’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods. His perfect day is to have a relaxing breakfast followed by an urban hike into one of our amazing parks.

His superpower: He has a degree from a professional aviation academy and holds a commercial fixed wing pilots license. He has more than a decade experience flying light single engine and heavy multi-engine airplanes. Aviation has been a passion of his since he can remember. While it’s not a superpower per-se, he is incredibly proud of my achievements in aviation.

Superpower he wishes he had: The superpower he wishes he had the most would be the ability to slow time down and maximize the enjoyment from each and every experience he has.

Favorite moment/s in real estate: His most favorite moment in real estate is when he gets to tell his clients their offer was accepted and to hear the excitement in their voice when they realize their dream home will soon be theirs.

Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? He has lived in Sellwood for the past 4 years and absolutely loves it there. Having the opportunity to start at 13th street (dog in tow), grab a coffee at his favorite coffee shop, wander along the bluff taking in the views of downtown and the Willamette river and ending in Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge is just his favorite experience in this city. Old historic homes, stunning views, and quiet trails… simply the best.
