Client Corner: Small Souls EP Release Show

We are excited to support our past client and friend Brian Rozendal. His band Small Souls is playing a show to celebrate the release of their brand new five song EP.

The Urban Nest team has had the pleasure of building a long-term relationship with Brian.  Over the last seven years he has both sold and bought a home with us and referred several wonderful people our way.  Brian currently resides in SE Portland, a perfect neighborhood to feed the rich cultural and gastronomic needs of all the talented musicians Portland has become home to.

Portland Mercury describes Brian’s music as “gritty indie rock that successfully pulls from some of America’s most familiar musical eras. Successful in that he (and his namesake band) deftly take elements of country, folk, and late-’80s/early-’90s alternative and mash them into spare, working-class pop songs that don’t merely ape what came before. Their songs are catchy, well composed, and have plenty of emotional depth. The group produces big, full arrangements, full of crescendo…”
