Have a set of broken speakers in your garage you would love to bring back to life? A toaster that is itching to start toasting bread again? What about a botched hair cut that you're hiding under a winter cap? We can help!

Urban Nest is partnering up with Repair PDX to bring volunteers who like to fix things, together with people (like you!), who have broken items that need fixing - it's a Repair Cafe! It will be a festive event where you can enjoy refreshments while meeting others from your community who are also interested in repair. Experts are on hand to fix items as well as teach participants how to fix things themselves. 

Urban Nest will be hosting our first Repair Cafe on Tuesday, July 29th, 6-9PM. Expert volunteers will be on site to help with the following:

  • Small Appliance Repair
  • Speaker Repair
  • Sewing
  • Hair Cut Repair

All you need to bring is something to be repaired, and a can-do attitude! RSVP now so we can have plenty of snacks on hand!
