Take The Plunge to Support the Special Olympics Oregon

Making a Splash for a Great Cause

The Oregon Polar Plunge is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Special Olympics Oregon. If you can brave a quick dip in the chilly waters of Broughton Beach, you can contribute to a meaningful effort that raised over $415,00 for Special Olympics Oregon in 2016.

For those that want to take things a step further, there will also be a 5K run that participants can choose to partake in before they take the plunge. For those that are a little too intimidated by the icy plunge itself, there is also a "Too Chicken To Plunge" option, meaning that you can still participate in the team-building and fundraising without the freezing water aspect.

The Portland Polar Plunge is scheduled to take place February 25th, you can learn more about signing up or forming a team here on the Polar Plunge website.
