Take A Look Inside ADX - Portland's DIY Mecca

A Hub for Portland's Maker Community

This year marks the 6th anniversary of ADX, a makerspace, learning center, and fabrication shop on SE 11th avenue. Since ADX's launch in 2011, the space has incubated over 100 businesses and helped 200 crowd-funded projects reach their goals. Inside the work space, you'll find professionals and hobbyists alike collaborating and working side by side with cutting edge tools and equipment available to anyone that's interested in joining the community.

Shared Resources

Starting at $75/month, anyone (regardless of skill level) can get an ADX membership that provides access to shared workspaces, a digital design lab, an extensive tool library, discounts on classes, and more.

Building Skills

ADX offers a diverse array of classes available to both members and the general public, divided into four categories: introduction, basic, intermediate, and advanced. Whether you're interested in woodworking, metalworking, 3D printing, jewelry making, screen printing, or laser cutting, you can learn it all at ADX.

Custom Fabrication

In addition to being a resource and educational hub for Portland's maker community, ADX has an in-house custom fabrication team that creates custom signage, furniture, fixtures, and more for both local and big name clients including Twitter, Red Bull, and Tofurkey. As part of a truly community-centric model, 100% of the profits from their in-house fabrication team are recycled straight back into the ADX makerspace.
