This week I went down to SE Division to check out a new listing in the Clinton Condominium building. Now let me tell you, I’ve had a love affair with this building for over a year now. Every time a unit goes on the market I probably look over the photos at least a dozen times, always thinking “I NEED TO LIVE HERE!”
I called the listing agent, Hope Beraka, before heading over and when she told me that this is the “best unit in the building” I suspected I was going to fall madly in love. And that is exactly what happened.
When I walked into the top-floor penthouse it was hard to know what to look at first because everything was amazing - the floor to ceiling windows with views of downtown, the wood floor that carries itself up one of the walls and the kitchen cabinets, the beautiful furniture (especially in the dining area), the high ceilings, the ceiling-height doors, the artwork, and even a basketball hoop on one of the walls (no joke). This place literally has it all and just being in the condo makes you feel good.
Outside, the building is gorgeous and minimalistic, and Hope says it’s “a premiere example of modern architecture in Portland.” Downstairs you’ll find the Little T American Baker (I recommend snagging a Kouign-amann while you’re there) and the Bhaktishop yoga studio. You’re also just steps away from the Clinton commercial district and everything that Division Street gives you (which is a lot). “This unit provides the best that SE Portland has to offer!” Hope told me, and this truly is no lie.
My favorite part? EVERYTHING. I won’t be forgetting about this one for a while and I challenge you to find me another condo building as perfect as this one.
