The Portland Book Festival

Founded in 2005 by local writer Larry Colton, the annual festival always featured an impressive lineup of local and national authors and a book fair. Brew Lights
November 17th-18th | Oregon Zoo
Join the annual BrewLights, a ZooLights brew festival experience just for the 21-and-over crowd, with dozens of local beer vendors to sample. Enjoy local food carts and dance to live music. BrewLights tickets include a souvenir cup and ten beverage tastings throughout the zoo. Guests can sample over 100 beer, seltzer, and cider options from more than 50 Northwest vendors while strolling through colorfully lit trees and dazzling 3-D light sculptures.

Wine Country Thanksgiving
November 17th-26th | Wineries Across the Valley
During Wine Country Thanksgiving, Oregon’s premier tasting and cellar-stocking event, more than 150 wineries open their doors to the public, offering samples of favorite labels and special vintages. The holiday weekend festivities include live music, food, and wine pairings, and the opportunity to visit with winemakers at some of Oregon’s top wineries — including many not usually open to the public.
