He/Him

Mike is a native North Portlander who combines his local knowledge, resourcefulness and love for houses to help meet the needs of buyers and sellers. After over a decade working in marketing and communications, Mike decided to listen to the nagging internal voice telling him to pursue his passion. He grew up in a family of DIYers, and truly caught the real estate bug while buying his first home. Mike loves walking into a new house for the first time and imagining the possibilities to make the space your own.

His ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: Mike's ideal day starts out with a hearty breakfast at City State Diner and a trip to the dog park with Pele the black lab and Poky the mystery dog. Next, it's time for a second cup of coffee at Crema followed by lunch at the Hawthorne Asylum food cart pod. The ideal evening includes a trip to Providence Park to root on Mike's beloved Timbers and concludes with drinks with friends at our favorite dive bar, The Standard.

His superpower: Mike's super power is problem solving. He's willing to pull out all the stops to help you get into a house that you love.

Superpower he wishes he had:  Mind reading! Who wouldn't love to go into negotiations knowing what the other side is thinking.

Favorite memory in real estate:  Mike's favorite moment is when a client finds a house that feels just right. His second favorite moment is when an offer is accepted on a house that feels just right.

Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Although North Portland will always have a spot in Mike's heart, his favorite area is the Buckman neighborhood in inner Southeast Portland. Mike has lived in all four quadrants of Portland, but loves the eclectic architecture and vibrant colors of Buckman's victorians and old-Portland bungalows. This is an incredibly walkable neighborhood with dozens of restaurants and bars, and easy access to public transportation. Everything is within arms-reach in this close-in neighborhood.
