Visit the Stumptown Headquarters at 100 SE Salmon St. for a crash course in professional-level coffee tasting. Every Monday through Saturday at 3 PM, the good folks at Stumptown Coffee put on a free (!) tasting event where you’ll learn the finer points of evaluating coffee’s flavor, body, and aroma.

You’ll also learn why Stumptown’s Coffee is so exceptional, with detailed information on their innovative Direct Trade program. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early, and spend about a hour sampling a wide variety of coffees.
