Portland’s Waterfront Blues Festival

2023 marks the 36th anniversary of the Waterfront Blues Festival! Over the course of four days and four stages, the festival features a dynamic lineup of 100+ blues, soul, funk and R&B artists, as well as some of Portland’s favorite food trucks, wineries, breweries and more.

Portland Pride

Portland Pride is a two-day festival at Waterfront Park and an epic, colorful and joyous parade winding through downtown Portland. With food, drinks, live music and nonprofit information booths lining the Willamette River, the festival is a great place to gather, mingle and get more information about local LGBTQ+ groups.

Portland Paseo
July 16th - 30th | Midtown & South Park Blocks
Portland Paseo is an afternoon/evening community gathering inspired by the Spanish custom of the evening walk that reawakens the city, it is a linear celebration of artists, music, performances, visual art, street food, and artisan markets honoring and amplifying the amazing work of our BIPOC communities and the city's mutual aid groups, volunteer groups that collaboratively uplift individuals and groups in need.

Flicks on the Bricks
July 21st - 23rd | Pioneer Courthouse Square
The Flicks on the Bricks tradition, the Square continues to welcome movie viewers to bring their own low-back chairs, blankets, pillows, cushions, or bean bags to truly make the Square their “Living Room” during each movie. Admission to each movie is FREE and all seating occupancy will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check out the schedule for details + movie times.

Montavilla Street Fair
July 30th | Montavilla/East Tabor Business District
Stroll down Stark Street and enjoy district businesses, a farmer’s market and family-friendly entertainment and activities. Vendors will be present at the event selling food and drink, art, handicrafts, and clothing and marketing local products and services. Music will occur on three stages, offering a diverse mix of local Portland music, including a kid’s stage in “Kid Villa.”
