DELTA PARK POWWOW + ENCAMPMENT

The Delta Park Powwow and Encampment is an annual Portland tradition that draws Native American, and non-native participants and spectators from across the Pacific Northwest to enjoy intertribal dancing, cultural exhibitions, arts and craft vendors, fry bread and other delicious food.

Every June, PDX Beer Week features limited-edition brews, a lineup of events, and beer specials at bars and brewpubs citywide, overflowing with so much hop fever that the “week” spills into ten full days of thirst-quenching fun.

JUNETEENTH OREGON CELEBRATION
June 17th-18th | Citywide
Juneteenth Oregon celebrates the date in 1865 when Major General Gordon Granger read "General Order No. 3," in Galveston, Texas, declaring that all slaves were free. The celebrations begin with a parade, followed by various festivities, including live music and entertainment, art, food, educational booths, cultural exhibitions, and community resources.

Festival of Balloons
June 23rd-25th | Cook Park
Every summer, the Festival of Balloons in Tigard, Oregon, celebrates the local community and everything about hot air balloons. More than 20 of them are launched at dawn (weather permitting) from Cook Park. In the afternoon, visitors can also indulge in shopping among arts and crafts vendors, enjoy the rides at the Funtastic carnival, participate or cheer for the youth soccer tournament, and listen to live music concerts and performances.

RED DRESS PARTY
June 24th | Veterans Memorial Coliseum
At Portland's annual Red Dress Party, all attendees are required to wear a red dress or pre-approved attire. Tickets to the event include entrance to the party, entertainment, dancing, as well as food and drinks all evening. All proceeds from this year's Red Dress party will benefit Planned Parenthood and Q Center.
